Re: How to install Jack garden edging strips?

Hi @Fiona82,

Thank you for your question about installing the Jack 1180mm x 200mm Garden Edging Strips.

The installation guide shows this product being driven into the ground using a hammer and a timber block to prevent damage to the edging strip, however, I suggest it would be a good idea to add Jack 300 x 80mm Oxy-Shield Edging Stakes over each join for added strength and to give everything a clean, uniform look.

This product will easily bend to a light curve and can be bent to sharper angles using the instructions in the above mentioned installation guide.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Jacob

Re: How to install Jack garden edging strips?

Thank you for the information above regarding Jacks Edging strips. But can you tell me how to cut it to the correct length. Is it just a matter of bending it a few times or what?

Thanks

Hello @janetian

Welcome to the Bunnings workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us.

It is possible to split it up using the fold and bend technique, but it can take some time and can get wearisome. I suggest using a Craftright 250mm Straight Cut Aviation Snips. Please make sure to wear personal protection such as gloves and goggles when cutting the garden edging.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
