Hi Eric,
I have about 26 metres of ag-pipe to lay and was wondering if it is possible to join a Vinidex 65mm x 20m Draincoil With Filter Sock to a Reln 65mm x 7m Slotted And Socked Stretch Ag-Pipe?
Perhaps there is a better solution?
Thank you.
Dez
Hey @Dezzi,
While they aren't going to clip together like the Reln 65mm x 7m Slotted And Socked Stretch Ag-Pipe is designed to, I can't see you having any issues joining them with a Vinidex 65mm Draincoil Coupling.
The Vinidex Draincoil just press-fits into them, and as the diameter of the Reln Ag-Pipe is the same, I imagine it should do the same. You may just need to cut the clip together end piece off of the Reln pipe using a hacksaw.
If need be, you can always wrap some duct tape around it. They're not meant to be entirely watertight, so as long as they are securely connected, this would be fine.
Let me know if you have further questions.
Jacob
OK great. I'll give it a shot.
Thanks heaps, Jacob.
Hello @Dezzi
Yes, the Vinidex 65mm will join up with the RELN 65mm agi pipe. The RELN pipe will have a joiner attached to it and you just need to push the Vinidex into that joiner. For extra support you can use duct tape to keep the pipe together and once they are buried movement between the two will be minimal.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
