Please advise what is the ratio to mix Dulux Avista Oxide 1kg (jet black) with Bastion 20kg Concrete Mix.
Cheers.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Julia_wshop_Qs. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about oxide.
On the Dulux product page, it suggests:
Mixing Ratio For general usage, add 1kg of Dulux Avista Colour Oxide to 4 litres of water. Stir and then add the 20 kg Dulux Avista Resurfacing Base Compound. For smaller quantites, use a ratio of 1 part oxide with 20 parts cement. Add the required amount of Dulux Avista Colour Oxide to water, then add the Dulux Avista Resurfacing Base Compound. Colour variations can be varied by altering the amount of oxide in the mix. Note: when used in products other than Dulux Avista Resurfacing Base Compound (a white cement), the final colour may vary compared to Dulux Avista Resurfacing samples
I would suggest using 1kg per 20kg of concrete mix. Check the results while they are still wet to ensure they've reached your desired effect.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
