How to replace Ozito Line Trimmer PXLTS-1830 Spool and Springs?

Hello wonderful folks!

I have got an Ozito Line Trimmer PXLTS-1830 that has been a trusty companion until I managed to lose the spool and springs (argh). I have been on the hunt for replacements but haven’t had any luck on the Bunnings or Ozito websites.

Does anyone here happen to know where I can find these parts? I would be super grateful for any tips or advice!

Hate that "twang" sound when something decides to leave or you place it down then turn around to only find that its gone! How, just how does that happen!

Have you tried the special orders desk at Bunnings? They are pretty good at sourcing the parts that people want.

Just went trolling around the Ozito page 🙂 and found this Ozito spare parts and they reference the "Special orders team" at Bunnings so I would suggest thats heading the right path.

I will tag @EricL and @MitchellMc as they have more knowledge of product lines as well.

It is awesome to hear from someone who understands the pain of that “twang” sound! 😅 It’s like the spool and springs just decided to take a vacation without me!

I've had the same issue and I just couldn't get a replacement. There was 1 person that had one but wanted abit for it that it was just cheaper to purchase a new one so I did that. Sorry I'm of no help.

I had a long conversation with the Ozito technical team, and we've combed through their parts list. But spare parts for the PXLTS-18301 are no longer available. I can only suggest that perhaps it's time to upgrade to a new set such as the Ozito PXC 36V (2 x 18V) 350mm Brushless Line Trimmer PXBLTS-3635. You can use standard Ozito PXC 18V 4.0Ah Battery Twin Pack PXTBP-240 which are compatible with the entire Ozito PXC range.

I tried to track down my receipt to figure out which store I bought it from, but no luck this time. I’m pretty sure it was from the Nunawading, VIC 3131 store. Fingers crossed the missing receipt doesn’t get me into too much trouble! 😄

We'll need to try and verify which store you purchased from and the date of purchase in order for us to locate your receipt for an exchange. It would be best to check your bank statement and try to narrow down the purchase.
