I want to replace my garden tap with this Brasshards Dual MI Hose Tap 15mm Brass (or 20mm version).
Not sure if my outlet is 15mm or 20mm, so I guess the best way would be to remove the existing tap at take it in store to check the sizing, is that right? Also, it appears the Brasshards only comes as a male connection, but looks like my existing tap is a female - so does that mean it is not an option for me, or does it need and adaptor?
More generally, these lever-type taps seem very convenient, but do they have any disadvantages? Would I be better off just adding a standard splitter like this Pope 2 Way Brass Threaded Tap ?
