Hi Team,
Can you pls advise the what's going on with my guava tree leaves?
Thanks in advance.
Hello @sudheer1301
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your Guava plant.
For treating the fungal and pest issues on your guava tree using products specifically available at Bunnings, you can start with Yates 200ml Liquid Copper Fungicide. This is a widely stocked copper-based fungicide that works well against fungal leaf spots like anthracnose and cercospora, both of which are common on guava. Mix it according to the instructions on the label and spray it evenly on both sides of the leaves, ideally in the early morning or late afternoon when the sun isn’t too intense. You can repeat this every 7 to 10 days if the infection is moderate to severe.
If pests are also present or you suspect so because of sticky residue or tiny bugs, apply OCP 100ml Eco-Neem Concentrate, which is an organic insecticide and fungicide in one. It’s great for soft-bodied insects like aphids, scale, and whiteflies, all of which can make fungal issues worse by weakening the plant. Spray neem oil every 7 to 14 days, but avoid spraying when the temperature is high or the sun is directly hitting the plant, as it can burn the leaves.
To support the tree’s recovery, use a gentle, balanced fertiliser like Yates Dynamic Lifter Soil Improver & Plant Fertiliser. It enriches the soil and strengthens plant health without overwhelming it. Apply it around the base, keep the area well-watered but not soggy, and ensure the plant gets good airflow and sun.
Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves, goggles and a mask when spraying your plants.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
