Mower was purchased October last year and only used 2 or 3 times.
Since then I have not done any garden work (no strenuous activities) because I spent time in hospitals dealing with eye and kidney procedures. All good now and back on deck.
Went to start the mower a couple of days ago and it will not start?
Waiting for family member to help me take mower to Bunnings Scoresby and hoping to simply exchange for the latest 2N1 which features ReadyStart and happy to pay any price difference.
Cheers
Hello @AlanM52
Sorry to hear you're having issues with your mower. If you can bring your docket with you I'm sure the team at the store can facilitate the exchange for you. My other suggestion is to make sure to bring at least two forms of I.D. when you go to the store.
If you need further assistance with the return, please let us know.
Eric
I have a update-
We went to Scoresby (I need family member to help) yesterday evening and now regretting I bought this mower.
They will not exchange or refund and the only option I was given was to go find a Masport authorised agent.
So I asked if I could leave it there for that to happen - No
My daughter searched for nearest Masport agent and turns out it's the same mower shop where I have been getting my mower parts from for the last 25 years. I rang him this morning and we had a laugh about the whole thing.
When it's back it will be up for sale.
Cheers
Hi @AlanM52,
I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not as you had hoped.
If it was a defect present at the time of manufacture, then you should be covered by Masport's 4 Year Warranty.
Are you aware of what the issue might be?
As it sounds like it is already with the repair agent, it may be too late, but please let us know if there is anything we can do to assist further.

The mower is still here at home, I have to wait for someone to help me get it there.
I spoke with the mower guy and informed him the mower has not been used since last November so he was thinking fuel might be off but when I went to use it tank was nearly empty so fuel is fresh. If someone wheeled the mower into my workshop the first thing I would do is check for spark.
Cheers
