This is our main entry to the house. It was covered in weeds and pesty trees. You could barely walk up the garden path. We stripped it right back to create a native Australian garden. Hidden amongst is a garden seating to enjoy the sunshine the streams in first thing in the morning 🌄 . This is one of 4 areas we have transformed on our block of land.
Materials
Behind the scenes: all our tools were purchased from bunnings. We needed gardening gloves, rakes, garden edging, mattic, and plants

Steps
Step 1
Clear the land. We had to cut down trees, remove stumps and dig up heaps of weedy plants. Then we were left with a slopey land to work with.

Step 2
We then divided the land into three areas so that we could start to level out and build some small retaining walls. These were rocks from around the house.Â

Step 3

I wanted an Australian garden so we bought plants from bunnings garden centre. Lots of kangeroo paws and I love my emu bush.
Step 4
A seating area was a must so on the second level we created a small cosy area. We used pavers to have stepping stones to the seat.

Step 5
Now its just waiting for it to grow. We planted in September so everything loved summer! It is also lovely right now in winter as it gets lots of sun.
