Retaining wall fence bracket problem

Retaining wall fence bracket problem

Im looking at solutions for Modwall type products for fitment to the existing retaining wall.

Currently the wall has a poorly built wood pailing fence which is attached via two bolt brackets to the I beam.

These brackets do not allow for a post to be attached the then allows a panel to slide down.

Only solution i found was a random bracket on YouTube that slid over I beam, but this was not able to be purchased.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Retaining wall fence bracket problem

HI @Midyandy,

Is this the same retaining wall from your discussion: Fencing screening assistance? If so, perhaps you could start by showing us some images of what you are working with, including the issue with the I-beam. It would also be great to know what type of modwall you are planning on using. As these are modular proprietary wall systems, we'd likely need to know how they attach to offer advice. Are you planning on attaching the modwalls I-beams over the current retaining walls I-beams?

I look forward to seeing those images and hearing more about your project.

Mitchell
