This week in the garden

Although the weather is cooler there is always plenty to do in the garden  I planted a few more shrubs, put in another bird bath and did a little mulching.

The veggie garden is coming along nicely and I planted some red cabbage and mini green cabbages this week to fill in the gaps. I check the veggies regularly and pick  off any pesky bugs. Not much watering was needed as we have had lots of rain.

The main project this weekend was freshening up  a couple of old  planters that came complete with large succulents. (from the in-laws) . I removed a few as they were toxic to animals and left the Century Plants, topped up the soil and  planted some  Princess Lavender and added some African Daisy and Pink Ice succulent

Re: This week in the garden

Everything is looking spectacular @LisasGarden! That was a nice little score with the planters.

Many thanks for sharing what you have been up to this week in the garden.
