I want to purchase a Ryobi mower and lawn edger (not a trimmer) but I want two devices that use the same battery model. I don't want to hold two different battery models for these devices. My preference is in the 36V brushless mower range. Thanks.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's fabulous to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about which Ryobi mower and edger to purchase.
There are two types of 36V edgers available and a few brushless mower sets in the same voltage range. I'll be passing by the store tomorrow and will double check for you to make sure that units I recommend will only use one type of battery. As soon as I have the information, I'll get back to you.

I spoke to my stores power gardening specialist and they recommend the Ryobi 36V Cordless 220mm Edger RED3600 Tool Only in combination with the Ryobi 36V 46cm 4.0Ah Brushless Cordless Lawn Mower Kit. The lawn mower kit comes with a 36V 4Ah battery and charger which is compatible with the edger.
