I’ve grown some corn, about 6 plants.
there are cobs there, do I wait till the
hair on top is brown or is that too late?
thanks in advance, Carol
Hello @madnan,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's great to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your question about your corn.
I suggest keeping an eye on it and following the traditional signs of corn harvesting. When the tassels on top turns brown after six weeks. You can also try the fingernail test, peel the top of the protective cover then press a fingernail firmly into a corn kernel. If a creamy liquid comes out, it's ready to be harvested.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
