Electric secateurs are good to cut tree branches, but when will Bunnings provide electric secateurs with extension pole? Thanks.
Hi @wendy001,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
The Ryobi 18V ONE+ EZ REACH Pole Lopper sounds like exactly what you're after.
It allows you to lop tall branches from a safe distance, extending out to provide a total reach of 2.7m.
It runs on the RYOBI 18V battery platform which has over 200 compatible tools.
Let me know what you think and if you have further questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
Jacob
You could also ask Ozito.

Hi Jacob,
Thanks for the quick reply. It is what I am after, I did not find it on Bunnings website. I wish Ozito could have something similar because I have several Ozito batteries already, so I do not have to buy a battery from Ryobi.

Wendy001
Hi AlanM52,
Thanks for the suggestion. I will ask Ozito.
While it doesn't look like Ozito currently have a pole lopper, they do have this Ozito PXC 18V Cordless Pole Pruner, which could carry out the same functions as a lopper.
Have a look and see what you think.
@wendy001,
An alternative (manual) tool is the Fiskars PowergearX Telescopic Tree Pruner, which I own and can recommend. Very durable and easy to use.
Jason
Thanks Jason. The manual one needs more strength than an electric one, so might be suitable for someone not strong. But thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks Jacob. I used to have a chain saw, but the chain fell off constantly, so now I try to stay away from chainsaws. But thanks for the suggestion.
No worries @wendy001.
I do find the pruner very easy to use. You might like to have a quick look at it in store. You slide the top section up and down to operate so it doesn't require much strength.
Hi all,
Here is the update. I bought the Ryobi 18V ONE+ EZ REACH Pole Lopper but it was too heavy for me and other people in my family. We are fit and not old, but still find it too heavy. So I had to return it. I am going to get the Fiskars PowergearX Telescopic Tree Pruner, thanks to @Jason 's suggestion. The reviews are quite good, so I will give it a try.
I got the Fiskars PowergearX Telescopic Tree Pruner and am very happy with it.
That's great to hear, @wendy001! Many thanks for the update.
