Why have my dwarf apple tree leaves fallen?

My new planted apple tree in soil from pot has its leaves fallen. How to check and maintain them to ensure it flowers and fruits up. Is it normal in this season of autumn start in Melbourne even thought temperatures are yet to come downC1779058-F316-42E4-AFE0-7F5F60527615.jpeg

Re: My dwarf apple tree leaves have fallen.

Hi @KrishnaKumar,

At this time of year, apple trees lose their leaves in preparation for storing energy for the next season. Did the leaves start to fall prior to the recent heat wave? If so, this could be a natural process. If the leaves only fell due to the heat and shrivelled up, that could be due to the weather, heat stress and being under-watered. As with your other plants, ensure you provide adequate water by checking the soil and watering when it begins to dry out.

Here's a helpful guide: How to grow an apple tree.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
