how to cover timber framed front garden wall with cement boards

we have a timber frame that is concreted into ground and currently covered with a weather proof plastic.

We have decided we would like to cover this in a type of cement board/sheeting and than paint or render on top.

I was wanting some tips on how we go about doing this with frame and stumps already done?

Could we please trouble you for some photos of your frame so members can see what you are working with and provide more specific advice?

Can you also let us know what your goal is for the project? Is it acting as a front fence? To hide/screen something? For privacy? That might also assist the community in making suggestions about materials.
