Hi all, hoping I can get some insight
ive but purchased a home far from where I currently live and will be moving in next year.
im trying to figure out if I can take my existing plumbed fridge to this house - whether it’s possible or not?
I’ve attached a picture. The sink is on the island and the fridge is across from it. The wooden door is the wall in pantry. The skirting boards didn’t seem to pop out but regardless they’re interrupted by the pantry. There’s no option to go under the house either.
Is it still possible to have a plumber fridge given its position?
Hello @acerafa
Congratulations on your new home. If you wish to bring your fridge with you and install a fridge tap, I propose engaging the services of a plumber. They will be able to determine if they can tap into the existing plumbing from your roof cavity and run the plumbing from there. Generally speaking, the source of the water does not need to come from your kitchen tap. For example, if the garden tap line is close by or the bathroom basin tap line is accessible the plumber can link into that line and run a source for your fridge.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
