DIY kitchen makeover

we gave our kitchen a much needed facelift by firstly painting the cupboards with the Dulux renovation rage. Adding easy craft panels to bench. We extending the sides of the bench so we could add the floating shelves to the front. We then continued that look by covering our exhaust with the easy craft panels and adding more timber floating shelves.

I am loving your panelling on the kitchen island and on over the exhaust. When you did the exhaust, how did you tackle where the buttons are located and ensure they are accessible? Any advice to give our members looking to do a kitchen makeover of their own?
