Is the glue used in the SpecRite 2400 x 900 x 33mm Brown Acacia Multi-Use Timber Panel safe for contact with food,. Can I use the SpecRite 2400 x 900 x 33mm Brown Acacia Multi-Use Timber Panel for making kitchen chopping board. Thank you

Just letting you know that I am still following up the supplier in regards to the SpecRite 2400 x 900 x 33mm Brown Acacia Multi-Use Timber Panel. In the meantime, I suggest having a look at this featured project - Tasmanian Oak chopping board by @AnitaP.

Thank you for your patience. We've checked with our supplier and the panel is fine to use as a chopping board as long as the timber has been sanded down with the protective oil coating removed and a food safe stain/oil such as Feast Watson 250ml Kitchen Timber Oil has been applied.
