Re: How can I get a freestanding Kaboodle breakfast bar

Hi @Diane3

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's marvellous to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about about a free-standing breakfast bar.

Building a freestanding island with Kaboodle cabinets is definitely possible. There are a great number of cabinet combinations you can use, and you can have it as long as 2.4m or more.

Did you have a cabinet combination in mind? How long do you want your island to be? If you can provide me with this information, I would be more than happy to draw up a cabinet design for you.

Here are some fantastic island projects our Workshop members have shared:

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let me know.

Thanks EricL

I believe I will be looking at approx. 1m x 2.5 m.  Room for legs under and hopefully some storage on the other side.  No sinks or other installations required.  Again, same as my other post - I am early anxious Nelly!!

Hi @Diane3,

Creating a breakfast bar with Kaboodle cabinetry is a super simple process. Here's a design I've put together for you.

Let me know if you have any questions.
