How to change kitchen cabinet colour?

Hello,

Hi all,

I intend to repaint my kitchen cabinets. The previous owner installed them and I suspect they purchased a complete set from Bunnings, the cabinets have a white gloss finish, which I don’t particularly like, so I want to change them to a matte or latex white. My question is whether it’s feasible to scrub those cabinet doors and repaint them? Any advice on this pls.

What you are looking to do is absolutely possible and luckily there is a handy step-by-step guide to walk you through the process. Check out How to Paint Laminate Kitchen Cabinets for everything you'll need.

The Dulux Renovations Range Cabinet Door paints are a great option for this project. Check out Rejuvenate your cabinets with Dulux paint to see them in action.

Porter's Paints also has some great options that will give your cabinets a beautiful new look. Just make sure after cleaning your cabinets thoroughly you use Porter's Prepare And Prime before applying your choice of paint.
