Would it be easier to remove them and paint over the current sheets, or add a new vinly sheet over the top of the current?

Painting your kitchen cupboards is a great way to change the colour and give your kitchen cabinets a facelift. I'd suggest painting your cabinets with the Dulux Renovations Range Paints.
