How to clean a glass induction hob?

IMG_20230729_091827283.jpg

hi all

An old pan has left a residual stain on the glass induction hob, wondering if anyone knows any cleaning products that could remove it, have tried numerous.

Thanks

Tim

Re: cleaning hob

Hi @timln,

Have you tried contacting the cooktop manufacturer and asking them about approved cleaning solutions? Any idea what caused the mark, and are you quite sure that it is on the top side of the glass and from beneath it? It appears quite similar to a scorch mark, so I wonder if it's from the pan or the electrical components underneath the glass. What cleaning products have you tried so far?

If you could provide a little more information surrounding the mark, our members will be better placed to offer helpful assistance.

Have you tried the Hillmark Ceramic Cooktop Scraper and Hillmark 250ml Cerapol Ceramic Cooktop Stove Cleaner?
