Hi there. I need to connect my washing machine to the pipes under the kitchen sink. Would I be able to connect the drainage hose to that small white bit sticking out? I already have a plan for the water supply but just not sure where to put the drainage hose. Thanks so much 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Leebird. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about connecting a washing machine.
Yes, you can connect your drainage hose to the white spigot, though it might need to be drilled out first and requires a hose clamp. The process is exactly the same as connecting a dishwasher, and here's a helpful guide: How to connect a dishwasher.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Amazing, thanks Mitchell. I'll check out that tutorial....
Ok checked out the tutorial. Couple of questions:
1) how do I know if that spigot needs to be drilled AND
2) what if I am not able to reach the spigot with my drill as it's quite a tight space.
Thanks again @MitchellMc
Hi @Leebird,
You can check if the spigot is open in a few different ways. If you take a photo of it with the flash on, you should be able to tell if it has been drilled out. You could also stick something thin, like a piece of wire, down the spigot. If you hit a wall, then it hasn't been drilled out. You could also pour some water into it. If it drains, you're good, if it doesn't, you'll need to drill it out.
If you need to drill it out and can't get your drill to the right angle, you can always disconnect the tee piece from the other pipes, then reinstall it after. If you have to do this, then you'll need some multigrips or a pipe wrench to loosen and tighten the connector nuts.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks you so much @MitchellMc and @JacobZ for your help. I manage to get it all done and now have a fabulously working washing machine in the kitchen (because that's the only place I could put it
