A few months ago, when browsing the Bunnings website, I saw a ‘kit’ of whiteboard shelves/pieces to convert a kaboodle pantry to a broom cupboard. It comprised a full width shelf, a vertical upright to the underside of the top shelf, and several shorter width shelves to the right of the upright.
Now, when I’m ready to start the laundry reno, I cannot find this item on the web page again.
Can anyone help. Have you seen it, and can you tell me its ‘name’ or item number?
I know I saw it, but I’m tearing my hair out in frustration now!
cheers,
Robyn
Hi @Robynkaye,
I'm sorry, but those kits are out of stock at Kaboodle until around late May. After that, you'll be able to order them through our Special Orders team with item number 0608034. I did want to mention that these kits need to be installed either on a new unit or one where you have access to the pantry's side panels. They can't be retro-fitted to a pantry that has other cabinetry up against its sides. I believe fixings might need to be driven through the side panels into the shelf.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
G'day,
Are these kits compatible with the tall pantries as well as the regular pantries? I was about to buy the Flatpax Broom cupboard until I saw this product in the brochure and now I want this with a tall pantry instead.
Cheers
Hello @Helmutson
The Kaboodle 600mm Pantry Broom Cupboard Kit is only compatible with the Kaboodle 600 pantry and will not work with any other pantry. However, if you wish to copy the design onto another pantry you can D.I.Y the project using melamine panels.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Thanks for the reply Eric.
Just confirming this would not work with a 600mm tall pantry?
Surely it would just be a little shorter and would perhaps even leave room another shelf at the top?
Hello @Helmutson
I can only vouch for the Kaboodle 600 pantry. As to the other pantries of similar height it may or may not fit, it's possible that adjustments might need to be made or pieces trimmed in order for it to fit.
