Hi, I am planning to install vj panel in my kitchen island but there is a gap at the end of my island on the right side what can I do to fill this gap? Photo attached
Hello @zaly
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about installing EasyVJ panels.
I propose measuring how wide and deep the gap is and filling it with a timber pine panel of appropriate size. I suggest fixing it in place by screwing it to the existing kickboard of the island. I then recommend painting the pine panel in the same colour as the island panel so that it blends in. This will then allow you to install the EasyVJ panel without having to worry about the gap at the bottom.
Let me call on our experienced members @Dave-1 and @daniknight4 for their recommendations.

Good Evening @zaly
Thats always the problem that comes to mind when I think of kitchen benches and moving or installing new ones... Your tho I think would be an easy fix. My thoughts are along the same lines as @EricL's just a little different ![]()
With the VJ panel I popose to actually take it pretty much the floor and bypass that gap. You could also install that piece of Pine that @EricL mentions against the existing bench so as to give a solid base to attach the VJ panel to. It would hide the gap easily.

Hello @zaly
I suggest looking at the 140 x 19mm 1.8m DAR Pine Premium - 1.8m. Please note that it does come in various sizes so please double check your measurements before you visit the store.
