Hi guys, I recently removed a part of our kitchen cabinet space to make room for a dishwasher space. I'm just seeking advice if I still need to add a panel or base of support for the countertop on the left side? Also, can I use plywood to even the floor against the tiles? Thanks in advance!
Hello @ralphvincentpan
Thanks for sharing your question about the space for your dishwasher. I propose installing an angle bracket such as the Zenith 50mm Stainless Steel Angle Bracket - 4 Pack. I propose using 30mm screws for the benchtop and 15mm screws for the side panel.
In regards to the panel for base support, I suggest measuring the height of the dishwasher and the height of the opening. This is to make sure that there is enough space for the dishwasher to slide in. If there is enough space a base panel can be placed on the floor. But if there is not enough space, it might be necessary to leave the space as is.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
