I wanted to buy Westinghouse Oven for a kaboodle oven cabinet- WVEP6716DD … after looking I believe this will fit in Proud into the kaboodle cabinet ??? It will stick out 21cms is so I’m guessing ??? Then I need buy an oven pack or some panels above and below to make it look more flush ??? Will it still have enough room to connect the wiring behind as it seems the oven then will be flush from behind to wall and normally I hope the ovens are slightly recessed for wiring harness?
Hello @Derek_reno
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your oven.
I suggest having a good look at this discussion - What ovens fit 600mm Kaboodle oven base cabinet by @Maria_H1. Looking at the user manual for WVEP6716DD the oven will fit inside the oven cabinet from an installation point of view. Yes, you'll need Kaboodle oven panels to cover the gap at the top and bottom. Your electrician should be able to arrange the wiring harness for your oven. The discussion I've linked to has the measurements of the Kaboodle oven cabinet if you wish to double check. Please make sure to follow the installation instructions of your oven manufacturer. If unsure, please confirm with the oven manufacturer.
