How to fix cracked floor tiles?

It's just under the fridge and some glass bottles fell onto the floor. I don't know exactly what sort of tile they are polished porcelain or something? I just want it it to look a little bit better.

Re: could I fill in the holes in this tile to make it look less noticeable?

Hello @LIZZIE22

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your tiled floor.

To temporarily cover the damaged area of the tile I suggest using Selleys 50g Knead It Multi Purpose Epoxy Putty. Your goal is to fill the damage and level the surface of the putty to the same level as the tile. This will save you a great deal of sanding effort. Once the surface is level, I suggest painting the repair spot with a sample paint pot of the same colour as the tile. It will disguise the damage for a while, but you'll need to touch it up every now and then when the paint starts to fade away.

Please keep in mind that it will be necessary to replace the broken tile as the damage will eventually get bigger.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
