Hi ,
My son damaged kitchen drawer but cutting oranges on it... Can you please advise what can done ...is it easy to replace drawers of cabinet
Good Evening @sj1
Not so great news I think. The cuts go through the vacume seal of the material to the timber, you can see it lifting in the photos. A repair would be noticable and probarlly be hard to bond with that type of edge.
If you know the model of your kitchen you could get a new draw face made up and replace.
You could take the draw into the special orders desk/kitchen build area and ask the Bunnings staff if its possible to either get another face made up or if they know the model of the draw.
Last one I can think of, replace all 4 sets of faceplates of the drawers so they all look similar and match what you have now.
Or! How about taking the faceplate off and spinning it 180 degrees so the rough edge is on the underside, then switching the top drawer to the bottom to better disguse the marking? I would use some white pen paint to colour the chewed bit and you wont really see the edge as it will be on the underside.

Hi @sj1,
Unfortunately, like @Dave-1 mentioned, these are vinyl wrapped drawers which you can't sand back, fill and paint, so we would need to look at options for replacement or disguising them.
Could I trouble you for a photo of how the faceplate of the drawers attaches to the bottom and sides? You should see some screws or a mechanism on either the inside of the drawers or on the underside.
Can I also ask for the measurements of the faceplate?
Depending on the dimensions of the drawer's faceplate and how it is attached, you may be able to just replace it with something like this Kaboodle 600mm Modern 1 Drawer Panel.
Alternatively, what Dave mentioned, rotating the faceplate so the damage is facing down and then swapping it with the bottom drawer, could be a good option.
Let me know what you think, and if you require further assistance, please let me know.
