Why is my kitchen tap leaking in the mid section and how can I fix it?
Hello @Mykelty
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your kitchen tap.
If your tap is leaking at the midsection where the body meets the spout it's likely that the O rings of the spout have given way and needs to be changed. At the back of the tap is a small access hole where a grub screw is located and is holding the spout in place. You'll need to use an Allen key to remove the grub screw. Once the grub screw has been removed you should be able to pull the spout and change the O rings.
I propose using Kinetic Assorted Sizes O Ring Kit in combination with Kinetic 15g Tap Lubricant. My best advice is to double check the size of the O rings before you install them.
