How to fix loose kitchen mixer connection?

Hi everyone. Please help! Our kitchen mixer connection keeps popping out and spraying water. If the mixer is turned off no issue. But the part the swivels that goes up to the sprayer is coming loose while using and then sprays everywhere.

See attached photos. The connections under the sink look okay. It appears that either some washers or something else in the assembly isn't right as we have never had the whole unit just pop off like this.

Is this something I could easily get some parts from Bunnings tomorrow please?

Can you have a look around the area I've circled below to see if there is a small hole in the tap body? Sometimes there is a grub screw which goes through the body and tightens on the tap spout which prevents it from popping out. That screw might be loose and require a small allen key to tighten.

The spout may have an internal gripping mechanism that has worn out and can no longer retain its position. If that's the case the tap would need to be replaced.

The black O-rings might have something to do with the retention of the spout, but I would think there's another method. You could try changing them out with new ones to see if it helps

Another thing that is worth trying is removing the aerator from the tip of the spout. It should unscrew. Clean out the filter inside if it contains any debris. If the filter gets blocked, the back pressure in the spout might cause it to blow out. As a temporary solution, leaving the aerator off the spout might allow the tap to work.
