does anyone have advice for how to fix this wall paint
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @benji9. It's a pleasure to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a wall.
It looks like there’s a small patch of damaged or flaking paint and some minor staining on the wall, likely from moisture, condensation, or something that was once attached to that spot. If it’s just that immediate area affected, you can fix it fairly easily.
Start by gently scraping or sanding away any loose or bubbled paint to get a clean, solid edge around the damaged section. Wipe it down with a damp cloth to remove dust and patch any uneven areas with a bit of filler, sand smooth after it dries, then apply a stain-blocking primer. Once the primer is dry, repaint the section using the same paint type and sheen as the surrounding wall.
If the paint around it also feels soft or flaky, it could indicate ongoing moisture issues, so it would be worth checking for leaks or condensation before repainting, but from what’s visible, it looks like a small, surface-level repair.
