The instructions given and online to install the metal runners etc on to draws and inside cabinets is terrible!!! None of the pre drilled holes line up. Very frustrating!
Hi @needadvice,
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble installing your Kaboodle drawer runners.
Could you advise what specific runner you were using? Were they part of a cabinet kit? If so, which kit did you purchase?
Can I also trouble you to upload some photos showing the misalignment of the screw holes so I can try to help rectify the issue?
Any additional details you can provide will help.

soft close runners with 3 draw cabinets
Hi @needadvice,
You mentioned that none of the guide holes line up. It could be a simple case of being on the left side of the cabinet, when it is the right side's runner.
If you try each runner on the opposite side, do things line up better?
This handy guide on Kaboodle's YouTube channel shows the installation process a little bit better than the written instructions.
Looking at this guide, is there a step that you see that is not happening for you?
It looks like you have already separated the drawer side runner and the cabinet side runners. Have you identified which part of the runner attaches to the cabinet and which attaches to the drawer?
I can't say I've installed these drawer runners myself, but the instructions say that you need to mark and predrill at 261mm from the front of the cabinet and 381mm from the front of the drawer. Have you done this step and then lined up the runners?
The existing predrilled holes should line up relative to those measured points.
I apologise if it sounds like I'm going in circles, I'm just trying to understand where the issue lies so I can give advice that makes sense.

Same both sides
Yes I’ve seen that not very helpful video. Yes I’ve identified the guides go on the draws and the runners in the cabinet.
It’s ok I got a friend to look at it. Head scratcher but finally sorted. Only needed 2 holes to line up.
Hi @needadvice,
Apologies for the delay in response.
I suspected that could be a contributing factor. There are a number of premarked holes which line up with the mounting holes of different accessories, such as these Kaboodle 400mm Soft Close Pullout Baskets. In your situation, they are redundant, but can certainly add confusion.
I am glad to hear that you've managed to get it sorted.
