Can anyone tell me what this is for? There is zero information about it. There is also an Allen key and there is no information about what its for either. Extreme novice heree

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your Mondella sink mixer.
The plastic triangle you have there is used under the benchtop, it is used to secure the sink mixer to the sink and prevent it from bending or twisting the stainless-steel sink. The Allen key is used to secure the sink handle. There is a grub screw that you can tighten inside the handle to prevent it from pulling out. It is also used on the grub screw of the spout and prevent it from slipping out as well.
