How to install a dishwasher in older house?

We have an old house and are installing a dishwasher so we need to get electricity put in by an electrician but also we will need to buy all the connections for the hot water that will need to go under the sink and extensions for the waste and also the inlet and we just wondering if there is a list of parts that are standard that we could get recommended as to what to buy from Bunnings to split the hot water to the tap and the dishwasher.

We need an extension setup (refer to photo) as the sink is a bit too far away from the dishwasher. Approximately 2m.

They do sell extension kits but we are wondering, can we purchase the extension kit shown in the photos as individual items from Bunnings?  Screenshot_20240121_190337_Chrome.jpgVideoCapture_20240121-194218.jpgVideoCapture_20240121-194229.jpg

Also, can we purchase the extension kit shown in the photos as individual items from Bunnings?

Re: How to install a dishwasher in older house?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Renegades. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about connecting a dishwasher.

You'll need a Kinetic 15 x 20mm Chrome Plated Double Mini Cistern Cock to split the hot water inlet hose. Just make sure that the dishwasher hose is 20mm thread. If it's 15mm, you'll need the Kinetic 15 x 15mm Chrome Plated Double Mini Cistern Cock. Here's an extension inlet hose: Kinetic 2m Washing Machine And Dishwasher Inlet Hose. Here's an extension waste hose: BOSTON 1.2 - 4m Expandable Washing Machine And Dishwasher Outlet Drain Hose.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
