Re: How to lay hybrid flooring around cabinetry?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Fatimah1967. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about installing hybrid flooring.

The cabinetry and toilet must be installed on the sub-floor. They must be installed first, with the flooring then brought up to the edges. It’s important to leave the required expansion gap around the perimeter of the room, cabinetry and toilet as per the flooring guidelines. The washing machine can be placed on the floating flooring.

Additionally, please make sure to follow the installation instructions of the specific hybrid flooring you have purchased to ensure proper installation and durability.

Just a note that although the flooring is waterproof, as in it's not affected by water, you still need to adhere to wet-area waterproofing requirements.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Re: hybrid flooring

Hi Mitchell the subfloor is concrete and toilet will have a rear outlet not through the floor does that make a difference cheers Allan

Re: hybrid flooring

Unfortunately, no immovable objects can be installed on the flooring @Fatimah1967. The must be installed on the subfloor first.
