After applying Feist Watson Kitchen timber oil + prooftint (Maple), two sections of benchtop have developed an orange/brown colour rather than maple colour of the rest of the benchtop ? The two sections were initially stripped to the original wooden base as the orange/brown markings suggested hot pan heating and sunshine through the large window.Do I have to strip/sand again before reapplying the maple-tinted kitchen timber oil ?
