Hi , can you paint kaboodle cupboards,
some of our kaboodle cubpoard have yellowed. See pics. Not under warranty. (Another story.)
If so how and what would use to do it. I have checked with our local bunnings and they've advised the can match egg white gloss in the white knight brand. Im worried about the gloss finished not being right.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @melsy2025. It's fabulous to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about painting cabinetry.
The Dulux Renovation Range and the White Knight Tile & Laminate Paint are both designed for use on cabinetry and can adhere well to the kind of finish used on Kaboodle doors. Before painting, it’s important to give the surface a light sand to scuff it up, clean it thoroughly to remove any grease or grime, and use the recommended primer if needed.
Even if you go for a gloss finish in one of these ranges it’s worth noting that it likely won’t perfectly replicate the high-gloss factory finish Kaboodle originally used. The result will be a nice, refreshed surface, but less shiny than the original. Still, it will be a big improvement in appearance and consistency.
Here's a helpful guide: Rejuvenate your cabinets with Dulux paint.
