I would appreciate any advice please. I’ve just finished refreshing my kitchen laminate benches and splash back tiles with Dulux Renovations range. Tiles came up fine but benches not so great. Anyway, I digress, since doing this we realise that the cabinet doors and actual doors (yes also laminate) also need doing. We have 26 cabinet doors, 4 drawers, 1 pantry door, 2 full-size doors (leading to staircase downstairs) and around the bottom of the main kitchen bench top that need to be done. Also ALL doors & drawers need to be painted on BOTH sides. So pretty big job. We are going to use the Dulux Renovations range again but I’m concerned about the life of the primer as this task is impossible to do within the stated 3 days for the life of the Primer. Should I prime everything then in time come back and paint, would the primed surfaces still be ok? Or any other thoughts on how to approach this? Sorry for the long message & thx for helping

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @RnB. It's sensational to have you join us and many thanks for your question on painting cupboards.
That’s a big job, and you’re right to think ahead about the timing with the Dulux Renovation Range primer. The primer is designed to be top-coated after four hours. However, you can wait longer. The only issue with waiting longer is that it provides more oppotunities for contaminants to end up on the surface. If you were going to paint the next day or in three days, it's best to give the primed surface a quick wipe down to remove any dust that might have settled on it.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Mitchell, I think we’ll go with priming everything then applying the top coat and keep our fingers crossed. I just can’t see how else we can get all this done without wasting primer. Let’s see how we go. Thanks again. I’ll try to remember to post a pic when we’re done
