How to re-affix kitchen cupboard door to carcass?

Trying to re-align this kitchen cupboard door I have unscrewed the hinge plate from the carcass. When I unscrewed it, pieces of plastic came with it, which looked like plugs/lugs. I cannot screw the hinge plate on with the screws as the screw hole is too big. What do I do now to fit the hinge plate back on the carcass?

Re: Re-affixing kitchen cupboard door to carcass

Hello @olitim85

The part you are after is referred to as a plastic screw plug and comes with the Kaboodle hinge set when purchased as a set. My first suggestion is to speak to the in-store kitchen specialist of your local store and asking them if they have any spares. They sometimes have extra in their box of spares. Next is to speak to spare parts department on 1800 772 737 or fill the form on the Spare Parts Department website.

The third option is to use Ramset 5 x 25mm White Wall Plugs trimmed and cut down to size, then inserted into the screw hole. My best advice is to make sure when you trim the plug that it is tight inside the screw hole.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
