How to replace a rangehood lightbulb?

Hi all,

I seek your advice for the light bulb in the rangehood.

The original bulb spec for the rangehood is provided hereunder.

Bulb Type	LED
Power	3W (max)
Socket/Base	E14
Voltage	230V
Light Center Length	55mm

Will below light bulb, suit rangehood? Do you have any recommendations from Bunnings collection?

Hi @nagumuthu,

Based on the specs you have provided, you would need to use a much lower wattage bulb.

This Osram E14 LED Daylight 2.3W Appliance Globe or this Osram E14 LED Warm White 2.3W Appliance Globe would work.

The first bulb will produce a more white light, whereas the second bulb will be more yellow.

The current light bulb in the rangehood is of below type. Are there any light bulb that match below mentioned specifications. (Note: I found some at Bunnings online, not sure which one will the apt choice). Appreciate further thoughts on this.

Hi @nagumuthu,

I can't find anything in our range that is an E14 and in the candlestyle at 3W. The closest would be Osram 4W 470lm E14 Warm White LED Candle Fila Frosted Light Globe. It's 1W more than the specification, so you should check with the manufacturer of the rangehood to ensure it is compatible.

You can use any E14 globe around the same wattage and physical size.
