my rangihood is very old one, has a canopy, can I just change the machine and keep the canopy

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your rangehood.
If the new rangehood can fit inside the space of your current rangehood, it might be possible to keep the exterior cover. I suggest engaging the services of a handy person to see if they can dismantle the old rangehood but keep the exterior intact. I then suggest measuring the inside space of the old rangehood and seeing if a new one such as the Kleenmaid 90cm Concealed Slide Out Rangehood or the Bellini 75cm Undermount Rangehood along with the Esatto 52cm Black Matt Undermount Rangehood can fit inside.
Once you determine which rangehood can fit, your handy person can then install the new rangehood and cover it with your old rangehood surround.
