Paint and elbow grease.
Belt Sander, orbital sander, drill, photo electric paint sprayer
This kitchen table was ugly and knocked about.
1st, I took the backs out of the chairs.
2nd, sand everything back as far as possible.
3rd, dust off and wipe over
4th, apply 2 coats of white paint to chairs and table, everything except table top.
5th, sand table top and apply clear low sheen coat of paint x 2
6th, reattached painted chair backs.
7th, put some cushions on the seats
whaa laaa… enjoy.
Hi @jennycooper,
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for posting your fantastic project!
You've turned a fairly beaten-up, dark and worn-down dining set into a bright and beautiful piece for your home.
I love the way you've left the tabletop looking natural, then framed it with the blue. Also, that colourful handle is a fantastically unique touch.
Congratulations on a job well done.
Jacob
