My man and I have ripped out our kitchen and tried to freecycle or buy second hand to redo the place.....

$50 oven and stovetop...$275 tiles...sleepers for the bench...secondhand cabinets!!!

Re: Upcycling kitchen makeover

Hello @Kalei10

Thank you very much for sharing your fantastic upcycled kitchen makeover. Just a friendly reminder that ( chrome, copper, arsenic ) CCA-treated sleepers are not recommended to be used for kitchen benchtops. However, if you are using hardwood non-treated sleepers it is perfectly safe. I recommend sealing your timber benchtop with a polyurethane sealer to protect it from water damage.

Again, thank you for sharing your upcycled kitchen makeover.

Eric
