What pest control is safe with a baby?

Hi, we have recently had crickets enter Our house and it’s been soo annoying since I’ve got a baby.
how can I fix this? I’m scared to spray the house with pesticide because of the baby. Also what product should I use to seal the garage door and sliding doors. Thank you ☺️

To keep crickets outside without using hazardous chemicals, start by sealing any entry points. Check for gaps around doors, windows, and vents, as these are common ways crickets sneak inside. Use weather strips and No More Gaps to fill any holes that are potential points of entry.

Outdoor lighting can also attract crickets, so consider switching to yellow or warm-coloured bulbs instead of bright white lights. Keeping outdoor lights off when they’re not needed can also help reduce cricket activity around your home.

A tidy yard can also discourage crickets. Remove piles of leaves, wood, or clutter where they might hide, and keep grass and bushes near the house trimmed. By eliminating their hiding spots, you make it harder for them to get close to your home.

Essential oils like peppermint or citrus can also help—try spraying a mixture around doors and windows.

If they still get in, you can always use bug spray to manage them.
