Hi there! Could you help me decide which tile and color would look best on this kitchen wall? (The floor will be changed later as well.)
Hello @gabrielsurraco
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about what tile to use in your kitchen.
I always suggest using the ever-dependable Duratile 10 x 30cm 1.02m² White Gloss Subway Wall Tile - 34 Carton this very popular tile is often used in a subway pattern and blends in with almost any kitchen design. If you find that the Subway tile is too bright, you can get a more subdued version with Johnson Tiles 302 x 76mm Vintage White - 56 Pack. Using a Duratile 30 x 30cm 0.99m² Storm Ceramic Floor And Wall Tile is another option, it has a nice neutral colour that will blend in with your current kitchen colours.
Generally speaking, you can use coloured tiles but the drawback to this is that it dates fast and should you decide to change cabinet colours or benchtop finish your tile will no longer match the new colour scheme. A white or neutral coloured tile will always have a higher rate of blending in even if you have different colours in your kitchen.
Let me call on our experienced members @redbournreno, @daniknight4 and @lifestylebymari for their recommendations.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
