Everything for this build is available from any Bunnings.
Sides are 16mm laminated pine 1800x450 cut in half for the sides.
The top is the same pine sheet yet 900 wide. This sheet will also make the bottom front panel.
41mm x 19mm dressed pine is laminated to the bottom side of the top to beef it up a little.
The bottom, back and draws of the unit are 16mm melamine.
41mm x 19mm pine is used to frame out the front of the unit and any support for the draw runners.
Draw faces are again from a sheet of 1800 x 900 laminated pine sheet.
16x 60mm dressed pine makes up the bottom kicker.
I designed the unit in Google Sketch up and happy to share the plans if anyone is interested as basic as they are.
The stain is a custom mix of Jarrah, black paint and thinned with water to the desired consistency and transparency.
