Further to my earlier console table project for housing some living room entertainment electronics, I also tried to find a way to manage the messy cables which were real eyesores. I preferred methods that would be low-cost and non-destructive (i.e. doesn't require drilling holes into furniture etc.).
I considered those cable management boxes similar to what ikea's been selling (Bunnings also has one),but none of them has the required specifications. I was almost going to DIY my own cable management boxes but ended up discovering these little gems in a Daiso store. They cost little, come in a variety of sizes, and are such godsends for cable management because you can thread cables through the gaps between the fabrics!
