Bedroom suite refresh with spray paint

Quick bedroom suite makepver using spraypaint to freshen up the colour.

Materials

Dulux Duramax spray paint in satin white

Tools

dust mask 

gloves 

drop sheets 

Steps

Step 1

The bedroom suite was spray painted in parts.

Wipe down the drawers with warm soapy water to remove dust and grime.

The drawers were sprayed first, using thin light coats to stop and drips or running. 

 

Step 2

Spray paint the carcass of the tallboy and bedside tables.

Leave in a dry place, like the garage, for 24 hours to get rid of any spray paint smell before putting it back into  The bedroom.

Step 3

Dismantle the bed and spraypaint the bed.

Leave to air for 24 hours before placing back in bedroom.

Another simple but wonderful project that really elevates the space.

 

The bed and tall boy look fantastic with their fresh coat of paint. The new colour looks fantastic against the light blue of the room.
