Can you use Prempanel around gas fireplace?

I would like to know if you can use Prempanel around a gas fireplace as a feature wall?

It is not an open fireplace and the fireplace has glass in front of it.

The gas fireplace is already installed and I will use the Prempanel around the boarder of fireplace and up the rest of the wall to create a feature.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your question about your fireplace.

Can you please tell us how far the fireplace will be from the panels? What kind of fireplace will you be using gas or electric with faux front? Which exact panel will you be using? Once you give us this information, I can then pass it on to Prempanel and they will be able to give us a definite answer.

Thank you for your patience. The Prempanel technical team has advised not use the panels near your gas fireplace. Although the product has been tested for fire it is more towards house fires and not as a feature panel near open flames. In the interest of health and safety they don't recommend using the panel near your gas fireplace.
